Elie Zananiri is a creative developer specialized in large-scale interactive experiences, mobile applications, and user interfaces. His expertise lies in software architecture, code optimization, tool and library development, and procedural animation.
Elie has exhibited work and given workshops internationally, notably at the Sundance Film Festival (USA), Tribeca Film Festival (USA), Venice Biennale (Italy), Indiecade East (USA), MediaLab Prado (Spain), Typ09 (Mexico), and FILE (Brazil). He is a regular contributor to the Processing and openFrameworks creative coding toolkits.
Elie has designed installations and games for organisms such as the American Museum of Natural History (USA), New York Botanical Garden (USA), National Film Board of Canada, Dubai Prime Minister’s Office (UAE), Microsoft Studios (USA), and MUTEK Festival (Canada).
Elie holds a Bachelor’s of Computer Science and a Minor in Mathematics from Concordia University, as well as a Master’s in Interaction Design from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP).
